about

live worship album recorded in Hull, UK featuring worship leaders leaders and musicians from Vineyards churches all over the UK, including Nigel Briggs, Wendy O'Connell, Matt Chalk, Matt Turrigiano, Kate Cooke and Soose Courtney.

An incredibly passionate and honest album, Love Divine expresses the true lament of the church for the nations we are part of whilst declaring the hope we have in Christ.

These 12 songs we recorded live at the Hull Vineyard Church, UK featuring musicians and worship leaders from 8 different Vineyard Churches.Review from Christianity magazine (Dec 07 issue):
The digital door opens and in bursts the first wave of high-octane musical action. 'Bless His Name' sets the right tone for this live recording of some of the best recent tunes from Vineyard UK.

Released to coincide with the 200 year anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade by Hull-born William Wilberforce, not only does this CD give a global call to end the injustice of people trafficking today, but also gives voice to a very well produced and performed collection of good songs and singers. Every track contains its own listenable and enjoyable signature mark, but highlights are the melodically strong 'Unfailing Love', the almost Fleetwood Mac 'Come Lord Come' and the emotive lament of 'Psalm 13'. The flow of songs keeps you listening, the creative musical ideas keeps you interested and the authentic delivery keeps your heart responding. Reviewed by Sue Rinaldi a singer-songwriter, worship leader and writer who travels internationally.

Produced by brothers Dan and Matt Weeks, who have brought these powerful worship songs together with great live arrangements and unforgettable hooks. The recordings serves as great arrangements for church usage as well as being a wonderful listening experience.

This album commemorates the abolition of the slave trade 200 years ago and at the same time bringing attention to modern day slavery. William Wilberforce was born and bred in Hull and it was during his tenure as MP for the city that he successfully passed the bill through parliament on 25 March 1807 that led to the abolition of the slave trade.
However, today slavery is alive and well with over 600,000 women and children being sold to the sex trade every year.
